The region's only three-star table, at Tinqueux, ten minutes from central Reims. Arnaud Lallement cooks with precision, built around the produce itself, and his blue lobster has become the signature dish. Book several weeks ahead.
Opened in 2024 in a restored townhouse in the centre, across two floors. Philippe Mille, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France, earned two stars within two years, the fastest rise in the city. The restaurant is also singled out for its desserts.
The restaurant of the Les Crayères estate, set in grounds listed as a historic monument. Christophe Moret serves classic French cooking in one of the finest dining rooms in the city. The estate is also home to the spa we recommend.
Kazuyuki Tanaka brings Japanese rigour to French produce in a deliberately pared-back room. Two stars at thirty-five, and cooking that resembles nothing else in the city. Very few covers, so book early.
A step from place Royale, a discreet starred table where Benjamin Andreux works the seasons with a Mediterranean leaning. The most intimate of the five, and the gentlest way into the city's fine dining.
The gourmet burger in Reims, full stop. Ask for the “Sacré” with hand-cut fries and the signature sauce. Perfect for a no-fuss dinner with friends.

Soft-crust Neapolitan pizzas and traditional Italian cooking, in a room styled after the back streets of Naples. On Rue Chanzy, five minutes from the cathedral. The easy choice when everyone wants the same thing.

A neighbourhood bistro exactly as it should be. Blackboard menu that changes every week, market produce. The owner will talk you through every dish.
Our spot for working lunches. Quick service, serious cooking, and a calm terrace despite the central location. The steak tartare never disappoints.
A change of scene without leaving Reims. The royal couscous on Friday evenings is worth the trip. Book a banquette upstairs, where the atmosphere is something else.
